IvoryArk Kitten/Cat Sale Agreement

This Sale Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Jeanelle Comrie of IvoryArk Persian and Exotics (“Breeder”) and the undersigned Buyer for the adoption of an IvoryArk Kitten/Cat (“Adoptee”).

Conditions of Sale
The Buyer agrees:
   •   To assume full responsibility for the lifelong care and welfare of the Adoptee.
   •   To follow Breeder guidance as outlined in the kitten folder on housing, diet, litter, grooming, vaccinations, and general health care.
   •   To allow the release of veterinary records for the purpose of obtaining a second opinion, if necessary.
   •   To provide prompt veterinary care and ensure prevention of internal and external parasites.
   •   To provide enrichment, toys, exercise, and affection to support the Adoptee’s wellbeing.
   •   To never allow the Adoptee outdoors except in a secure enclosure.
   •   To never sell, lease, surrender, or rehome the Adoptee to a pet shop, shelter, rescue, or similar facility.
   •   To accept that, should these terms be breached, the Breeder reserves the right to reclaim the Adoptee without refund.

Appearance, Personality & Behaviour
The Buyer understands that IvoryArk Persian and Exotics makes no guarantees regarding:
   •   Colour, coat pattern, or physical appearance.
   •   Personality or behavioural traits.
   •   Compatibility with children, adults, or other pets.

Possible behavioural issues may include (but are not limited to): excessive licking, chewing, toileting outside the litter tray, scratching, biting, anxiety, aggression, or obsessive behaviours.

IvoryArk Persian and Exotics also makes no guarantee against food allergies, food aversion, skin conditions, or litter box issues.

Health Guarantee
Each IvoryArk kitten / Cat has:
   •   Received two veterinary health checks as outlined in the pet passport
   •   Been microchipped, desexed and vaccinated twice before adoption.

A 14-day Health Guarantee applies under the following terms:
   •   Any signs of illness within 14 days of purchase must be reported to the Breeder immediately and meet at the breeders choice of vet for assessment and treatment.
   •   The Buyer agrees to follow the feeding guidelines provided in the kitten kit.
   •   If, within 14 days, the kitten is diagnosed with a serious contagious illness or congenital condition that significantly affects life expectancy, the Breeder will offer a replacement kitten free of charge (subject to availability).

This Health Guarantee does not cover:
   •   Accidents or injuries.
   •   Genetic conditions that may present later in life.

While IvoryArk takes all possible steps to breed healthy cats, completed extensive DNA profiling some conditions cannot be tested for. The Buyer agrees to notify the Breeder if any genetic issue arises, as this information supports responsible future breeding decisions.

Ongoing Support
The Breeder genuinely cares about the welfare of every IvoryArk kitten / Cat and remains available to provide support and advice whenever needed.

The breeder is a certified pet groomer. However, is not a veterinarian and cannot provide medical advice. Adopters must seek professional veterinary care for any health concerns.
